Our History
Founded in 1998, CANiK operates in the defense industry with a strong focus on innovation and excellence.
From its establishment until 2017, CANiK specialized exclusively in small arms manufacturing. Starting in 2017, the company expanded its capabilities into medium-caliber weapon systems and advanced mechatronic integration solutions.
In 2022, CANiK significantly strengthened its position in the medium-caliber domain through the acquisition of AEI Systems, a UK-based company specializing in aerospace weapon systems.
Today, with a workforce of over 1,200 employees, CANiK operates 7 manufacturing facilities and 3 R&D centers across Türkiye, the United States, and the United Kingdom, delivering world-class products and services to its global customers.
OUR STRUCTURE
CANiK's headquarters is located in Istanbul, where core functions such as strategy, finance, accounting, human resources, digital transformation, corporate communications, sales, marketing, business development, compliance, and after-sales services are centrally managed to support the entire ecosystem.
Firearms manufacturing is carried out across CANiK Türkiye (Samsun), CANiK USA (West Palm Beach), and CANiK UK (Ascot). Advanced robotic integration solutions are developed at CANiK Unirobotics facilities in Istanbul.
Retail and e-commerce operations in Türkiye are managed by CANiK Store, headquartered in Istanbul, while all training services are delivered through CANiK Academy. Sales to the European Union are conducted via CANiK Europe, based in France.
